I believe the Honors Wall Act strips away the spirit and value of our awards system. It attempts to solve problems with completely unrelated solutions and upends our traditional system of awards. Yes, reform is necessary. Yes, there are problems to solve. Yes, it is foolish to cling to tradition when it is no longer working.
