An Throne of Silver

[CW: Death]

The Royal Palace dungeon was unfortunately not up to Esta’s high standards of suffering and torture but it simply have to do with the situation. As the guards tie the arch-princess down to a chair, handcuffing her by her hands and legs. They take their leave as the perhaps the most successful serial killer made her dramatic entrance with a soft hum. Taking her finger to collect the dust off the walls. “Ah, I haven’t been down here since I moved out. This was my favorite place in the whole palace too.” She gave a chipper happy tone as she walked around the woman like a wolf to an injured deer. “Now personally I rather have you at my dungeon but when in drastic times you just have to make do.”

Elisia looked up at her, her light blue eyes filled with terror as they met the Esta’s purple ones. With her desperately trying to break the handcuffs in no avail as she struggled against it. Pulling and pushing shaking around in the chair. But nothing. “P-Please! Please! Let me go! I-I didn’t want to, I-I just didn’t know how else to dea-”

“Oh my spirits! They actually left it here!” Esta gave a clap of her hands together, going over towards a table to open up an old leather looking bag. Taking out several tools out of it. “They used to measure heads of skulls with these to see how smart you were. It belonged to my great-grandpa, a real speciest guy even down to other elves. Lots of weird magic mumbo jumbo eugenics stuff with him but I always loved playing with it as a kid.” She holds out a large pair of metal rods bent in a circle-like shape. Holding it to the Arch-Princess head, the cold metal pressing tightly against her skull. “Hmm, this says you should have been sterilized at birth but we have a whole tool kit to see if that really what should have happened.” She gave a sing-song tune, skipping back over towards the table to find something else to play with from the tool kit.

“Please… I-I’ll do anything if you let me go! I-I’ll even abdicate my house, g-give all my lands to your brother. O-Or even you!” She had a weak smile as she looked desperately towards Esta. Praying that she could find something as tears gathered corners of her eyes. “Y-Yeah I could give my lands to you! G-Give you all the m-money you could want! I-I could e-even undermine y-your brothers s-so you could have a shot at the throne?”

“Yeah I don’t care about any of that.” Esta sang as she took out a weird looking bone saw. Giving it a quick look before tossing it the side of the table reaching in deeply. “Oooo! Here we are!~” She sang as she pulled out a pair of strange looking scissors. “They used these to trim or length elven ears. Depending on the fashion trend of course. Super painful, trust me, well trust my experience giving it to others.” She gave a cheerful laugh, skipping over in front of the woman. Holding it up towards the Arch-Princess eyes as she opened and closed it. “Though I think I can find something more fun but what do you think? It is your torture til death session after all.” She gave a warm, yet batshit crazy looking smile.

Elisia closed her eyes winching as Esta opened and closed the scissors. Turning her head away as far she could in her position. “D-Don’t kill me… Please… I promise to not do this again…” Tears was now beginning to run down her cheeks, her voice being completely shaken and hurt. “I-I’d do anything!”

Esta tossed the scissors behind her, taking a finger to collect the arch-princess tears. Bring it to her lips for a taste. “Oh that is just so salty! How the drakefire do they do that in the movies?” She stuck out her tongue, being disgusted by the taste. Shaking her head as she walked back to the horror bag. “Again, I will quite literally stated I’m going to torture you until death. I have no idea why you think I would want anyone in my family dead. I love all of them.” She placed her hands down on the table, looking back towards the Arch-Princess. “I just lost my daddy, and you nearly took my brother? You know what that does to a Goddess’ mind? Drives them mad it does.” She reached out, taking out a scalpel, a rather dull one too. So she took a moment to resharp it with a stone. “Honestly, I just been so depressed lately after daddy died. Like, what the Hel. He’s my dad! You can’t just kill someone’s dad like that, you know?”

“P-Please let me go….” The Arch-Princess muttered out between sobs, her head hung low as she looked down at the cold dusty stone floor. Small drops of tears dropping down into it as her long red hair, once well groomed, now being more of a mess as it hung over her head.

Esta gave a roll of her eyes clapping her hands together. “You. Are. Going. To. Die. Got it? Spirits you are annoying.” The elven woman returned to sharpen her scalpel. “I’m being really nice too despite you trying to kill Wilan too. I’m even sharpening the scalpel for you! Can you not just shut up and let me speak. Spirits.” She gave an annoyed gasp shaking her head softly.

The red head did what she was told as just sat there, shaking in fear, closing her eyes as she prayed to the gods that it was just a dream. Muttering out a very quiet prayer to Odin to give her strength and wisdom, all between her much louder sobs and sniffs. “B-By Allguardian give m-me strength… help m-me in my hour of crisis…” She refused to open her eyes as whispered to herself and the divine.

“Oi! Only Gods here is me!” Esta gave an aggressive shout towards the crying woman. Storming over there in all her fury waving the newly sharpened scalpel around. “I am a Goddess you and you will treat me as such! You little filthy rat!” She grabbed the Arch-Princess by the chin forcing her to look at her in the eyes. “If you want divine help! You beg me! Not Allguardian! Me!”

Keeping her eyes closed for a small moment more as she breathed in and out as she tried to calm her breathing, small sobs still leaving her as her mascara was running down her cheeks as her face faced her tormentor. Slowly opening her eyes to look Esta deep into her purple eyes. “Y-You’re no goddess… Y-You’re a-an mistake t-that Loki made i-in a drunken stupor…” Her voice was shaken, as much strength she tried to muster by saying it she was still terrified.

“I honestly was going to make it quick so I could go back to the party already but I’m going to do so much worse to you now. I can make the after party later.” Esta raised her scalpel in the air before making the first of many attacks that night. As the screams of Elisia echoed down the halls of the dungeon, screams shrieking in the dark. At first they were loud, before turning weaker as the night went on.

The Arch-Princess of Stillfangst would not be seen again that night. Or any night there after.
