“Nice to know that, and I am sure my father will want to make state visit here in future. I hope that only having a princess is fine enough” Ingrid said jokingly. “Shall we talk with the other attendences?” Ingrid asked Adley.
John greeted Otto as well. “Hi there Otto. I hope we can deal the situsation well and hopefully peacefully” .
“And Franklin you as well. Though again not a happy one. My job is the main reason why I personaly smoke” John said jokingly.
A clark approaches Otto, pushing his glasses up his nose and respectfully clearing his throat. “Er, what should we do about the state leaders from Arkalarius sir? I understand they’ll joining remotely, but according to the recent news the Commissar General of the EAU is commanding the current battle himself, so he likely won’t be able to attend.”
The clark nodded, smiling awkwardly, and handed Otto a tablet. “Nevertheless, they are calling in, Ive given them a time to call and set up a temporary account for them to call to on this tablet.”
“Now now I think that may going to far” Ingrid said as she overheard what Otto said. As she was heading towards them with Adley.
“Ah my highness nice to know you are joining us.” John said. John also turned to give a handshake to Adley. “I am thankfull you have allowed us to be apart of this conferance. Ive heard that Asendavia may get innolved, but from ive heard not through sending a representive here directly?”
“Ah yes, Asendavia will send a feed from the palace.” Adley said, “Durakia has, erm, not the best opinion of Asendavia.”
“For good reason.” Otto said gruffly.
Hearing Asendavia being mentioned, Hyla sighed and took a long sip of his coffee. “This is gonna be a long day” He muttered to hinself, under his breath.
“Are you sure it’s really necessary that I be here to represent Asendavia as well?” Hjalmar asked as he walked down the halls of Stromharad’s palace.
“I assure you, your being at the call will help to make a better impression. Durakia will not like it, but for everyone else, your appearance will make a good impression,” Pellervo Salmi, an Ursine diplomat, responded.
“I agree that having a member of the Royal Family appear would be good I suppose, but why me, why not any of my cousins?”
“Your father suggested to your uncle the Kaiser that you be at the call to represent us.”
“Ah, that explains it,” Hjalmar sighed, “Well, let’s get to it I suppose,” Hjalmar pushed open the door to the conference room and sat himself down next to a camera, with Pellervo sitting right next to him.
“Alright, I’ll be making the call now, so prepare yourself,” Pellervo muttered as he pressed the call button.
Both men faced the camera directly and sat up straight, waiting for their call to be accepted.
The clark comes back, this time without the tablet, and informs Hyla that it’s all set up for the Arkians to call. “They should be calling in any minute now.”
Barvata sighed. This was quite disorderly to say the least. His conversation had waned off to a different direction regarding the Asendavian representative. Of course it was. They’re always the one to kick up fuss he thought, with a large frown from hearing the name Hjalmar. Thankfully nobody noticed his adverse reaction, and proceeded to walk back to hit seat and sit down ready for it to all kick off. He sipped his cup of water.
Immediately after the call from Asendavia is received, two more calls pop up, from West and Easy Arkia respectively.
The first call seems to be from the West Arkian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wilhelm Kaufmann, while the second call is from an unidentified government computer.
As the call is accepted the screen shows Hjalmar and Pellervo. The princess straighten her back as another royal was attending the meeting, though not what she may have expected.
“Prince Hjalmar nice to see you joining us. I hope we can work well together when it comes to this meeting” Ingrid said giving a small smile and a nod as greeting towards Hjalmar.
“As her highness said, we hope this meeting can both secure peace in this brutal civil war but also be a coperation between us as nations.” John said he gave a small bow to the Asendavian prince.
