What role should the Auroran Continental Assembly play? Should it be like NAFTA, the E.U., NATO, a mix, or something else?
I think a group that has every right to defend members, and will do so without hesitation, but not an aggressive “foreign policy” organisation group (an example would be the USA). So similar the the EU?

I’m thinking more on the line of the European Union. Looking and reading a bit on the NAFTA and NATO, I prefer the E.U. with maybe a smidgen of NATO thrown in.
It could be a mix of Military, Social, and Economic cooperation.
We could have few or no import taxes between us.
We could have open borders and, marriage recognition, and looser immigration legislation.
We could certainly have strict assistance guidelines for if anyone on the continent is attacked.
Additionally, the Atlanteans are making a council as well…

Low Import Taxes from within Aurora while outside Aurora normal Import Taxes with the proviso of an Auroran nation having an agreement with a non-Auroran nation is up to said nations to decide? (don’t know if this is self-explanatory or not?)

Open Borders with valid ID/Passport checks (don’t want any wanted criminals to openly cross boarders do we?)
Marriage Recognition; I have no problem with that one, proviso that when they do get married the couple gets dual-citizenship, and any offspring receive the same?
Immigration - that should be up to each individual nation to decide?

Oceansend has finite land/living space. Unless you have a valid job that Oceansend needs or you get married to an Oceansendan and move to the nation. Otherwise their boarders are closed to immigration. Dragonia on the other hand, even though the nation does have land, the vast majority of it is environmentally protected. Dragonians as a whole practice a strict population control. The population has a very slow rise. The death rate and birth rate are somewhat even, and has been going on like this for a couple of centuries, so it is very ingrained into their psyche to have anywhere from one or two at the most children, on rare occasions a third child.

I agree, it would only cause further tension and negativity to officially denounce Packilvania, and considering that its threat to the autonomy of the continent during the Auroran Imperial War was the primary cause of the formation of the ACA, it would only make sense that there is at least some unspoken negativity.

If I was Emberwood Coast, the Kostuv view would be matter disrespect. If you attack same sex marriages in the very undiplomatic way you did then you say something about your opinion of The LGBTQI community and subsequently your opinion of Chance Syng personally. (OOC: Kostuvastan IC won’t exist in ten years, so by then there would be possibilities to broadly recognize marriage equality. I decided to make Victor a sexist due to the fact that this RP takes place in the 70’s, and doesn’t reflect my opinions on same sex marriages; just wanted to add some spice to this RP, since it’s relatively dull.)
