Greetings Magisters,
I am once more putting myself as a candidate for Provost of the upcoming 70th Magisterium. I have served as Deputy Provost for around two sessions and have done some other work throughout TEP.
My Philosophy on how the Provost should act is that they should be a first among equals, assisting fellow Magisters in the legislative process and ensure that the Magisterium is running normally. These are reflected in my policies during the upcoming session:
- Deputies: One of my first Acts would be to initiate a ping for Magisters to show their interest in becoming Deputy Provost. After all, the Deputies are the future Provosts of the Magisterium and we need to ensure that there is always a pipeline for future Provosts
- Collaboration: I will work with both the Magisterium and the Executive to achieve any common goals. If any Magister wishes to move things to a vote and believe they have the support or the Government wants some assistance on a legislative manner, I am more than happy to help within the bounds of the Concordat/Laws/SOM
- Interpretation: I believe that the SOM should be easily interpreted by any Magister, and therefore I will also take a collaborative approach to its interpretation to ensure that there is an interpretation that everyone agrees with, though I will be mostly working with the Deputies on any initial queries
