Due to my singular braincell malfunctioning, I had to make 2 time adjustments - first from 1 AM to 1 PM for the closing date, second moving the closing date 24 hours later to 6/8/2024 EST (you can see the date in your timezone in the OP post). This will make the declaration period last for one week, as mandated by the Delegate Elections Act.
Apologies if any inconvenience was caused by this muddling of dates.
