Even if you don’t celebrate it, what are your plans for this Christmas? Should we, as a region, do something special for the holidays?
I changed my flag on NS, by the way, to fit the holiday spirit, lol.
I don’t celebrate it, for the reason that it is just a comercial orgy like what the alcahol industry did to St Patrics day and have tried to do to haloween.
and I have a deeply personal reason.
as for the region, we could do something and possibly work in Hippo Awareness Day (which I do celebrate)
We alternate major holidays each year, Turkey Day with my folks, Decemberween with the wife’s family. This year is Christmas in her hometown. The picture above is of Wallowa Lake. It’s just a few miles up the road.
I don’t really celebrate christmas…the reason is kind of obvious if you have read my nations stand on religion…but is still a free day, so I don’t know what I will do…I’ll probably take the first offer I get…

Well, for Christamas my family and I celebrate Christams in the house or mine or of my uncles, and also I celebrate for birthday, religious and hanging on with friends reasons.
Grandma comes to stay and we just eat eat eat

I’m in for the part where I talk about the mighty hippo and their importance in our history…but if I have to give stuff away… it’s a risk…It might end up as comercial as Christmas…and Hallowen…and Thanksgiving…and San Patrick’s day…

yes there are presents, but the key to HAD is if someone starts trying to comercialize it you are allowed to beat them with a stick. and a hippo may well attack them at a river or something.
I used to get gifts when I was young but now I get practically nothing.

there are no Hippos around in my country, but I guess I could beat them with a stick…or ship them to Africa xD
