Historical Summary: First human and vulpine inhabitants came from the mainland Gondwana around 8th century. The settlers and missionaries from Asendavia came and settled most of the west coast on early 14th century and soon developed a new colony and trading posts. A large influx of settlers came from both Ethalria and Morstaybishlia around the 17th century, replacing most of Asendavian trading posts and native settlers which the later move inland. The power struggle between Ethalria and Morstaybishlia regarding the status of the island culminated in the victory of the later and full Morstaybishlian authority over the island on the late 18th century. The Great War errupted, resulted in the destruction of the colony of Joralesia and rise of poverty, especially for the people who lives in the southern part of the country, the island of Albyland. The Ethalrian government sponsored an independence movement on the colony of Joralesia, which half of its population is Ethalrian, but later failed to achieve. This strong sense of independence came from the southern area of the colony, on which the Morstaybishlian government decided to give a referendum. The southern half choose to be independent as Albyland while the northern part remains as a colony. However, Albyland still a part of the Commonwealth until 1975 when the Auroran Imperial War ended.
