Historical Summary: The Republic of Marabilla is a young republic but with a long history. Ruled by royalty from its inception in 801 until the proclamation of the Republic in 1987, it was however able to transition into a Constitutional monarchy in 1812 with the adoption of its first Constitution. It was influential in the foundation of the Constitutional State of the Andorinhões for its within its territory that the Order of the Holy Cross, founders of the first settlements, was founded. They exported many of the cultural elements from Marabilla including the language Marabillese as well as some of the customs. The transformation of Marabilla into a modern republic inspired the Andorinhean to overthrow the dictatorship and establish their own republic with a similar, yet different system of government. Marabilla is very found of their traditions one of the exemple being its Parliament which kept both houses, a tradition inherited from its constitutional monarchy era but modernized to be fitting of the times. The true origins of the Marabillese people is still disputed but the main theory is that the region was first inhabited by Peragians who sailed across and found the uninhabited coast of Marabilla which would explain the similarities between both Marabillese and Impelanzan.
