Its not surprising to me since most of the media networks are marching lockstep with Obama’s socialist ideal. The reason they give is that since the emails were stolen they can’t possibly in “good conscience” report on it, instead they chose to talk about the hacking itself and not whats contained in them. Personally I think the man should be arrested and then given a ticker tape parade.
It’s funny that right now major snow storms are happening in places you’d never think snow would show up, yet even after that and these emails the Copenhagen summit continues.
Nought amazing in those emails, really. But for the culture of paranoia that pervades everywhere they wouldn’t be at all noteworthy.

Interesting, I noticed the opposite here in Hungary. When I was about five, we were knee-deep in snow by this time of the year. Now, not even a single drop of snow even on the highest hills.
We had one of the coldest summers on record here. Which can only mean one thing…

the real issure is not the hacking but the fact that you have extremeist scientists fixing data to support teir own agenda, science is not supposed to have an agenda, it is supposed to be about truth and knowlege.
How can we be coming out of an cool period when the warmest year was in 2000. Temperatures have only fallen since then. This directly correlates to the fact that suns energy has dramatically been reduced I.E. lack of sunspots means no solar radiation means cooler earth.
if pollution is really affecting temps, then its impact must be minimal. I have yet to see any direct relationships to high temps and pollution, at least ones that haven’t been tampered with or disputed by reputable scientists.
My biggest deal is not the actual need to reduce pollution, its the way they want to do it. The developed world suffers and basically purchases the developing worlds ability to pollute the world. When we can preserve our capitalist way of life and not pollute as much then i will back it. Coal and oil are seen as evil however people do not realize the absolute need for these two carbon based fuels. Everything we have is made of oil or some sort of carbon yet they wish to limit the use of these, which essentially drives prices up and ruins economies. The US doesn’t even pollute that much, which makes these pinko bastards view of us as the criminal world destroying polluter an absolute comedy to anyone who really knows the truth.
Reduce pollution in the right places. The United States and the rest of the west have already done so, now its the rest of the worlds turn to change.

Problem is, the scientists need to get political in order to get people to do anything. As it is, a great many people somehow think they are instantly more qualified than they are, simply because they’re part of a crowd.
