The Story So Far
The 14th of April, 2026, marked a monumental day not only for The East Pacific, but for Nationstates as whole. At TEP’s organizing, a coalition of The East Pacific Sovereign Armada , Radiant Inquisition Of Perdition, The League’s Defense Forces, Europeian Republican Navy, The West Pacific Armed Forces, The Outback Bushrangers, The North Pacific Army, Frontierist Special Brigade (Talonia), Balder Jomsvikings
, Lke Imperial Army (Land of Kings and Emperors), Galactic Armada Of Starlight, South Pacific Special Forces, The Order Of The Grey Wardens, Bankless Liberation Force, Ten Thousand Islands Treaty Organization, Grand Army Of The Crowned Republic (Carcassone), Lily, and The Royal Britannic Navy united for a heroic operation to end Cordone, a vile hated region led by the Maham Pact, a depraved group of individuals who exuded hatred and were removed from our community. But with every wonderful conclusion, we must revisit the trail that led us to here, to this moment.
Our story starts with a TEP admin statement from the Regional Administration Office on the Maham Pact, November 21st 2024:
“[…] The primary offenders of this were the Empire of Dabiristan, New Westmore, Great Slatos, Lointland, Wiranath, Karatol-Advenra, and Rajyam.
New Westmore and Great Slatos were previously banned at least once by the OOC administration for repeated violations of the community standards – behavior that is largely reflected in the content of the Maham Pact server. They have both had their bans reinstated permanently.
Dabiristan, the owner of the Maham Pact server, allowed and encouraged the abhorrent jokes, slurs, memes and bullying present in its various channels, taking part directly on multiple occasions. Dabiristan frequently reiterated the server’s intention was to serve as an unmoderated exile for banned individuals, wherein regional moderation could not see or act. Dabiristan has been permanently banned from The East Pacific.
Lointland and Wiranath also took part in these conversations, particularly amplifying racist comments, jokes, and memes. For their involvement, they have been issued temporary bans to expire on March 1st. Karatol-Advenra and Rajyam were also involved to a lesser extent, and will be temporarily banned until January 1st. We hope they come back to our community after reflecting on their behavior. […]”
After this expulsion, the maham pact was removed from TEP society, and went on to found Cordone. Positioned as a group of friendly roleplayers who just wanted to be left alone, they continued to poach our members, downvote our polls, contributing to a general wear on the morale of our rmb community, Valsora. As much as they claimed to set themselves apart from TEP, but they continued to leech on our community, and something needed to be done about the crossmembers who were not part of the ban.
On January 17th 2025, former Vizier Libertanny petitioned the Praesidium to proscribe members of Cordone while they remained members of the region, and permanently proscribe Vussul, a member of Cordone government who upon being disgraced in TEP, destroyed regional infrastructure, as well as having his own bigoted behavior. After deliberation and a vote by the Citadel, I as Grand Vizier announced to the greater TEP world that Cordone and Vussul were proscribed, and we hoped this would ease up the ongoing issues.
The response from our own RMB community was complete distrust and othering of the TEP government, all spurred on by bad faith actors and Cordonite manipulation. But the Praesidium genuinely felt for the RMB community. Grand Vizier Sammy23 announces the modified proscription, in which the punishment for Cordone was altered to be permanent proscription of Cordone government leadership, and indefinite proscription of any cross member whose WA was in TEP. Ultimately while this plan was meant to soothe tension, the real effect was keeping the infection in TEP, through members who were more than willing to comply with the proscription since they had to sacrifice so little to do so.
Over time, it became clear to the government that Cordone was not a problem that would burn off so easily. Cordone started to transition to a Frontier in July 13th 2025. I as Admiral filed with the Regional Administrative Office for permission to Occupy Cordone, and behind the scenes the beginning of our plans started.
It’s no secret that The East Pacific has undergone a massive cultural and societal change over the last year. A mean old man, and later myself, saw that LWU had nefarious goals against our region and we undertook a shift in policy to be less raider friendly and lean more towards the current independent-defender alliance of the Modern Gameplay Compact to making strategic business deals, for the betterment of all. MGC helped inform us of slander/decisions our former treaty ally New Pacific Order made behind our backs. We had a détente with The West Pacific, and moved closer as developing friends. We started talks with The North Pacific, notably after the past treaty breakdown. We reengaged with the Defender / Independent sphere, and vastly expanded our outreach and FA efforts. Behind the scenes AMOM, and myself began making deals with Rhaza, and the rest of the Modern Gameplay Compact, to form a coalition to destroy Cordone.
Fast forward to December 18th 2025, when I took over as Acting Delegate. I decided the time was now to try and get this scheduled, so I added org leaders from across the game to a group chat on Discord January 19th 2026. The original date was set for February 7th Minor update, but was switched to the same day major due to most orgs having better turnout. This plan was abandoned, as the whole site was breached on January 27th, which necessitated us cancelling the plans and waiting for the website to come up. On February 4th, the website returned, and the pieces could be put back on the chess board. Notably yet another act of [Violet] happened, and the regional update times were shifted February 6th. The Op moved to February 21st, but on February 11th, It was decided to wait for a CTE wave that happened on March 25th. The Plan was then set to April 11th, major update.
While the operation was a mixmash mess, The East Pacific was able to bring friends together numbering near 200 people, a feat that is a testament to the success of our FA agenda.
But not all was lost, as Cordone made a number of questionable decisions, ejecting most of its community and taking the scraps to Corsair. Cordone was force refounded on April 14th, under the coalitions hands. A major, substantial shot was fired and Cordone was heavily wounded. But the story doesn’t end here.
The East Pacific will finish what it started, and destroy the Cordite plague, in all their successor states.
I decided that this was not enough. We need to continue to improve EPSA, and strike out at any Cordonite initiatives and friends. I declared war on April 12th, which passed April 18th. My goals with this campaign are simple. I want Corsair/Utropia and all that continue to support them to crumble to dust. There is a serious case of messed up, when given all the evidence and daily reality of Cordonite society, regions/nations who choose to ignore that are just as guilty of perpetuating this behaviour. Embassies of Corsair, I am putting you on notice. Now is the time to crush this out of the game, not only for TEP, but for us all.
Corsair cannot continue to perpetuate these ideals, and it is the mission of my administration to crush them. We will counter their recruitment attempts, and reach out and dissuade their partners from associating with them, with force when appropriate. NS is against you, and it’s time you take your brand of toxic bigotry to another part of the internet. The good folk here are tired of you.
My conditions for surrender for Corsair/Utropia are simple.
- Governors of both regions are to be turned over to a mutually trusted Valsoran who is not a member of Cordone or Corsair presently. All offsite property to be directly moderated by TEP admin team.
- Distancing and agreement to expel Maham Pact lackeys Empire of Dabiristan, New Westmore, Zharvekia, and Dhornaper.
While these conditions are not met, my administration, and the Eastern Pacific Sovereign Armada will rain cannonfire down on your regions, we will not stop til Corsair is a distant memory of what an unmoderated community can turn into, the festering rot of a failstate. We will employ all tactics available and legal to us, and make sure you never have a fun moment in this game again.
You poked the sleeping bear, and now is the time to be mauled. You can blame no one but yourself, plenty of you had a chance to walk away clean, to leave TEP alone, to become better people. But instead you chose to stay the people you are, and now you will suffer the consequences.
