First thing’s first, if you know nothing about baseball, or are a bit rusty, this thread is used to help you brush up on a little knowledge. Entirely, it should only take about five minutes to read, so feel free to do so. Any questions about baseball, stats, etc can also be asked in this thread.

What the Abbreviations in the game mean:
Here’s how the game determines what players tend to be ‘good’ and which tend to be ‘bad’ Each of these stats range from 55 being the worst, to 100 being the best. So, here goes:

Overall - how good or bad a player tends to be overall
Con (first in the category) - how well a batter tends to hit the ball
Pow (batter) - how prone a batter is to hitting for more than a single, like a double, triple or home run.
Spd - how prone a batter is to stealing a base
Eye - how well a batter is prone to determining if the pitch is a ball or strike. This helps with walk totals and avoiding strikeouts
End - how long a pitcher can pitch before he or she is tired
Con (pitching) - how well a pitcher can pinpoint his or her pitches. Better the score is, better the pitcher tends to be.
Pow (pitching) - how well a pitcher is prone to striking people out.
