Title’s self explanatory.
Grand Vizier is pretty much the most I can be in charge of in TEP rn. At least until June my work situation won’t allow me to take over the Delegacy. Instead, I want to use this nomination (thank you Luck) to push once again, and as many times as needed, for the separation between World Assembly Delegate and Head of Government that so many of us have wished for for years. The talks have become a bit stagnant over NS’s down time (of course they have), but also over our attempts to get a name for the HOG’s title. As much as I initially went for a name first, change second, the diversity of proposals make it much more easy to first split the office, and only then name it via a referendum and modify accordingly each law.
I verbally proposed the Magisterium the idea to get the HOG reform done in February and the title name set by May. The former will have to be March at the earliest now, if we want to have it all done before the end of the upcoming term. My vote in these elections will go to a Delegate that is committed with this reform, and encourages the legal process needed for it to happen.
Wherever this path leads us to, and for several reasons, but mainly for this one, this term will be a historical event in and of itself. Let’s do it right. Magisters, Citizenry of TEP, please make it so that the Delegate that comes from this election is the last executive Delegate of TEP.
