After touring the various embassy models all morning with your staff that had felt more like a self-guided tour for viewing a house you wanted to buy was over, you finally decide to have a bite to eat and make it to the Department of Diplomacy & Foreign Affairs’ headquarters afterwards. It was located at the end of Embassy Row, which forces you to walk down Embassy Row, with it’s various shops and restaurants that are exclusive to ambassadors, their family and staff, and government workers of Eastrovia. It was more vibrant than you expected after you rounded the curve after the checkpoint. You could hear all the languages of Urth it seemed as you seen various species interact with each other along tree lined boulevard that was more like a park and shopping center all-in-one.
You spot a East Malaysian restaurant chain you had seen during your tour of Eastrovia the day before and after looking at all the options you decide to try some traditional food. Upon entering the restaurant, you become unsure if you had made the right choice. It was pretty dim on the inside and everything was in the Peregrin language, but thankfully the waiter had Codexian menus ready-to-go and explained everything very thoroughly. It was a very interesting dining experience as the Peregrin diet lacked beef or pork so when you ordered the steak your waiter had to explain that it you had the choice of ground turkey or chicken and that they cook more like a “human burger” but they did have A1 sauce. Upon further questioning it’s revealed that that’s the only meat their stomachs can handle as they virtually eat things like bread, pasta, vegetables, fruits, fungus or nuts. You asked if they had fries, which caused the waiters eyes to go wide, so you ordered the edamame instead with a side salad and peach cobbler with a glass of sweet green tea. Afterwards, you decide if you ever go back to get a fancy salad or just for the pie; you also hope you find a place that does a good steak.
It became more clear upon entering the building that it was very self-service like viewing the models as you are greeted by a person as you enter but they are simply there to guide you to a touchscreen kiosk to place your order of embassy type, layout, location, cost of purchase, various foreign relation options to discuss with your representative and it even tries to upsell you to purchase Embassy Security Agency’s contracted security during your selections and before printing you off a ticket with a number for you to wait for your face-to-face meeting with a representative. You continue to joke with your staff about how the only option they didn’t have was to declare war.
DIPLOMATIC RECOGNITION
You must affirm as the representative of your nation that your nation recognizes Eastrovia is the capitol of the United Empire of East Malaysia. Empress Jung is the sole leader of East Malaysia. Prince Jung is the first-line successor of East Malaysia. The Department of Diplomacy & Foreign Affairs is your sole contact for all East Malaysian interests.
By agreeing with the above statement we can peacefully agree to be in diplomatic recognition of each others respective governments and East Malaysia will affirm that it will only recognize the nation you represent as its only government.
EMBASSY / CONSULATE
Embassies and Consulates are recognized as your sovereign territory by East Malaysia. Due to East Malaysian law the purchase of land by a foreign government within the Eastrovia District & City is illegal with the exception of lease agreements that is handled by a non-government property management company.
