Eastern Yasterian Economic Sphere

The Eastern Yasterian Economic Sphere, abbreviated as EYES, is an international trade organization for nations in Eastern Yasteria. Its member-states agree to low barriers of trade between other nations from within the organization, as well as the sharing of military intelligence regarding subjects of mutual concern. The organization was founded in January of 2008 and currently contains 6 member-states and 1 Observer.

Other states and organizations outside of Eastern Yasteria are welcomed, and encouraged, to reach out to EYES and EYES member-states to establish trade agreements, development projects, and diplomatic agreements in the region.

• Imperial Alliance of the Free Pax States
• Jiduan
• Tranquil Confederation of Lièhuǒ
• Second Beiran Republic

A nation can only apply to become an EYES Member if they are located in Eastern or Southeastern Yasteria, and their application will then be decided on via a simple majority vote from within the organization. Alternatively, an eligible nation can also apply to become an Observer, which will grant them the ability to be present in meetings, but not the ability to vote.

A nation from outside of Eastern or Southeastern Yasteria cannot apply to become a member or observer, but they can apply to become an EYES Partner. Partners are able to more easily coordinate economic agreements with EYES or EYES Members and benefit from lower barriers of trade. For an outside nation to become a Partner, their application must pass a majority vote from Member-States.

I write to you as a servant of the Imperial Vistari Confederation to request the opportunity to open a bilateral partnership between the nation and your economic bloc. Though a nation which operates transcontinentally, Vistaraland has aimed throughout its history to act as an amicable mercantile presence across the continent of Yasteria with which we share, in addition to maintaining a commercial presence within the Cerenerian Ocean.

Vistaraland has long since promoted cultural exchange with Asendavia as nations which share longstanding tradition dating back to the influence of the Gliatic peoples. In addition, as has been the case for much of Vistari history, we hold the strong belief that mutually beneficial economic arrangements reside at the core of scientific, cultural and commercial development which may hold a positive impact for the generations to come.

In my capacity as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Second Beiran Republic, I am formally requesting the entry of Beirais into the Eastern Yasterian Economic Sphere as a full Member-State. Beirais is located in Southeastern Yasteria, and thus meets the geographical criteria outlined within the Charter of EYES.

Beirais stands ready to uphold the obligations of membership, including the reduction of trade barriers among fellow Member-States and the responsible sharing of relevant military intelligence on matters of mutual concern. We are committed to transparency, reliability, and constructive engagement within all multilateral institutions to which we belong, and we are confident that our participation will strengthen the cohesion and resilience of the Eastern Yasterian Economic Sphere.

Greetings!

We are sending you this request for partnership between the Limboese Republic and the Eastern Yasterian Economic Sphere. Limbo is interested in being an economic partner for EYES, also taking into account our very close relations with Sigeta, one of the observer states of the organization.

We also inform you about the need to respect labor rights, as well as the payment of corporate taxes, in case companies from any EYES member state wish to operate in Limbo. It is also worth mentioning that due to the military neutrality guaranteed by the Constitution of the Limboese Republic, we will not assist you militarily in any way, including in terms of sharing military intelligence.

We hope that the relations between our country and EYES, as well as with the member states, will be productive, peaceful and mutually beneficial.
