Here is the place where you can sign up for next seasons GT3 series. some things for signing up have changed compared to last year.
The cars are mostly the same, so here is a link to last years post. And you can pick the car you want, you are allowed to choose a car that isn’t on the list. But then tell which car you want (https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/the_east_pacific/gt3-race-championship-on-urth-t4213.html)
The most important changes are:
There will be 3 different championships, Sprint series (1 hour races) Endurance Series (at least 3 hour races) and the combined series. Please put in the entry which of the championships the team wil participate
There is also a 24 hours special race. Teams in the Endurance and combined series will automaticly be allowed to participate for that race. Sprint series participants have to note they want to also join that 24 hours race. Teams are also allowed to ONLY join that 24 hours race, or bring an extra car for that race. (I’ll put an application out for just that race inmidiatly after the race before the 24 special)
More drivers per car. 2 drivers for the Sprint races, 3 for the Endurance races. and 4 for the 24 hours special ONLY for the AM class
No more factory teams allowed. Instead drivers will be put in 3 different classes namely PRO - PRO AM and AM.
PRO is the fastest class with 2 or 3 professional/ quick drivers. (most drivers of last season are PRO drivers)
PRO AM is the second class also 2 or 3 drivers. This class is for young/inexpierenced drivers and for teams with 1 (or 2 for Endurance races) AM drivers and 1 (or 2 during endurance races) Pro drivers.
AM is the “slowest” class for the AM drivers, these are normally the rich business man wanted to do some professional driving with each other. For the Sprint races 2 drivers, for the Endurance 3 drivers and for the 24 hours special 3 or 4 drivers (only class allowed to have 4 drivers for the 24 hours race)
There is a maximum amount of cars per team. For the Endurance teams is it 2 cars per team, and for the Sprint races it is 3 cars per team.
Organisation is allowed 4 cars per team. let’s say there is an person called Lebastian Soeb, and he wants 4 of the same cars, but there are only 2 cars per team allowed. What he can do is name team 1 Lebastian Soeb Racing Team, and team 2 can be called Lebastian Soeb Performance Racing.
Teams are allowed to have a car in different classes. going further with the example of Lebastian Soeb Racing Team. he is allowed to have 1 car in the PRO class and 1 car in the PRO AM class.
with these cnages in mind. you can sign up the same way as last year
