This is the embassy of the Confederacy of Rufuina.
Glory to the Confederated State.

Note that at all times whilst entering this embassy, you will be under constant watch of the military guard of our great confederacy, no area is off limit to surveillance, spying or any other forms of espionage shall not be tolerated, if such is observed by visitors please report it to your nearest military police officer, and if you are caught doing such acts, you will be quickly taken offsite without -ANY- warning.

Apart from our strict military measures, we do hope you enjoy your stay at our embassy, there are information booths to help you guide your way around the embassy, and plenty of food and drinks on offer at reasonable prices.

Your likely visit for the embassy will be to establish diplomatic relations, for such we offer the following when attending this embassy:

Do note that extensive international agreements will have to be discussed privately and not openly to the international community, such as private matters of foreign policy or military planning, if you seek either of these things or simply seek to discuss matters privately with a representative of the Confederacy or the Supreme President himself, a private telegram must be sent to the embassy in advance so that we may know what you wish to discuss in advance and that we can prepare for your arrival.

Please do note for all nations that are under the communist cause, these nations will under no circumstance be recognised, open to communication, trade, sales or military assistance, the communists pose the greatest threat to our world and they must be squashed under capitalism.

As agreed from our previous transmissions to your embassy we have agreed to begin the immediate sale of arms to your nation and in return the immediate import of steel and aluminium to help us produce the weapons you’ve requested.

As for your new offers we will be accepting the following:
-Embassy Exchange
-Cultural Exchange
-Diplomatic recognition exchange
-Non aggression pact

We have unfortunately declined the following:
-Student exchange
-‘Trade agreement’

We have declined the student exchange as we feel we are not ready to receive foreign students from various nations, as we are as of right now making heavy adjustments to the education system after the January coup, we feel having an influx of foreign students may lead to instability within the nation.

We are declining ‘trade agreements’ due to the vague nature of the offer/request, we are willing to host private enterprise, companies and industries from Lapinumbia to set up business within Rufuina however.
But these companies must follow the ‘Foreign Economic Policy Agreement.’

The terms of this policy are as follows, if an independent foreign company within Rufuinia is shown to be speaking against the state, or by any means using their resources to go against the Confederacy of Rufuinia, their property shall be immediately seized by the state and lent to local businesses, staff will be evicted and sent back to their respected country.
We would like to make it known that the central state shall be overseeing the eviction process personally as to make absolutely sure that no abuse from eviction officers is seen, and that the eviction process is fair and smooth.
Foreign companies are subject to the exact same taxes as local businesses within Rufuina baring a few welcoming tariffs, as we like to treat our foreign businesses with fair and equal treatment as to our local ones so long as they don’t go against the state.

The reasons for declining the non aggression pact we feel it is not needed given how far away our nations are from one another, that it would only be a hassle of paper work to file out all for nothing, this does not mean we seek to be aggressive, but we feel as if aggression toward one another would be rather fruitless.

For our first proposition in this superb talks, we would very much like to comes up with certain trade deals. As you know, that our nation is recently being hit by the catastrophe of a Civil War, and so we are in urgent need for certain goods for our people.

The Confederacy thanks you for your kind words to the Rufuinan nation and the rightful recognition of our sovereignty, the Confederacy of Rufuina whilst dictatorial in nature we can always insure that the citizenry of Rufuina and it’s territories are born equals and born with certain rights that must be respected.

Rufuina is of course very interested to allow the flow of free trade between our two great nations to ensure the growth of the capitalist free market system, we will agree to lessen tariffs on medical based goods but in order to ensure that our arms industry, of which we are heavily reliant on for trade we unfortunately cannot lower tariffs on Steel and Aluminium based goods for now, we hope you may understand such.

We are however prepared to lower tariffs on arms exports to your nation should your nation require arming against those who’d seek to encroach on social liberty and the free market capitalist system, our semi-nationalised arms manufactures are quality assured and prepared to make any arms, military vehicles, explosives to any of your nation’s specifications, with your country just coming out of civil war we assume that your army will perhaps need some form of modernisation reforms.
