Several issues have recently come to my attention, and they have caused us in the Department of Diplomatic Relations to re-examine our relationship with nations we have agreements with. In the interest of preserving what I hope is a mutually-recognized friendship between our two nations, I wish to inform you of several things.
First, as I understand it, a trade agreement was negotiated last year between your government and the Department of Diplomatic Relations; namely, that you would provide agricultural products and farming experts to our nation in return for assistance in constructing a modern rail line in your nation. While the rail line is completed, the Department of International Trade has informed me that shipments of goods still arrive from Furnifold regularly. I believe it is time we re-negotiate this deal.
Free Syllvin is willing to exchange resources with Furnifold to make this relationship more equal. We will allow you to select 1 natural resource that will be exchanged, pound for pound, for the foodstuffs you provide us. A list will be provided to you pending further negotiations, but Free Syllvin is rich in rare earth elements and precious metals that will likely be of use to your nations infrastructure and manufacturing.
Secondly, I wish to extend to your this strictly one-time opportunity to become a founding state of the Special Protocol for Economic Alliance Ratification.
