The United States (Parishes) of Mexregiona, as a very close geographic neighbor of yours, would like to request the following: Diplomatic Recognition, an Exchange of Embassies, and a Cultural Exchange. Otherwise, we’d like for you to consider a trade deal which, if ratified, would officially eliminate major skirmishes in the Vultucan Strait (once known as the Sydonian Strait). Please look over the following.

As you know, our two sovereigns have many juttings in which the ocean in constricted into the strait. These peninsulas, over time, may cause locals (especially traders and fisherman) to become agitated that little is being done to protect their shipping areas. That said, the map shown above illustrates a possible territorial cartogram in which both of our nations will have plenty of wiggle room. The pink would be international waters, while the lighter colors of our countries would signify waters in which verification would be required to enter the nation by boat. These would include the two major islands in the strait. Waters requiring verification shall be claimed as national waters, and therefore abide by the laws and regulations of said government. Perhaps even fishing rights could be added into the mix.

Lastly, I’d like to invite your sovereign into the Atlantian Alliance. Even if you were an observer, it’d still be a massive deal if the whole continent were tied into the betterment of our various populations.
