This just in, Breaking news in from the capital of the Constitutional Monarchy of The Senkaku Islands.

Today around noon after months of protesting the increasing population of foreign migrants entering the nation illegally, violence has broken out in the capital city of Asami.
It is believed that this fighting was sparked when a group of young foreign migrants attacked a group of Senkakuan students who were peacefully protesting outside of an apartment complex known to house as many as 230 illegal immigrants. Within minutes of the attacks, many more small scale confrontations between protesters and immigrants had taken place, reportedly involving more than 2500 people, and leaving at least 40 people dead and many more injured.
In and around that city their have been reports of attacks on foreigners by Senkakuan people and it is beilieved that xenophobia has in recent years become highly ingrained in the population, espicially the younger generation, possibly due to the highly nationalistic and pro-senkakuan school textbooks released 20 years early during the tenure of education minister Shinsuke Norigawa, who was a known proponent of racist, nationalistic and anti-foreigner thinking.
Head of the Asami police force, Yoshiro Takatori, has said that over 1000 police have been stationed near and around the biggest trouble spots and that the police force would do everything in their power to restore order. Also a few soldiers from nearby Takamo Army base have been called in to help quell the fighting.
