Just a quick note… the name of this forum should really be ‘Alternate’. The word ‘Alternant’ is a rather specialist term, referring to something composed of alternate elements; it isn’t synonymous with the word alternate.
Codex, I think your reading too far into it…I’d always guessed that Loop simply mispelled the end of the word.
That could be true. I wasn’t implying that the meaning of ‘alternant’ was implied. I was just pointing out that it does have its own specialist meaning; and that is isn’t the one used here.
