At 0600hrs a ship by the name of OTS Mcfarland departed from Yor isles heading to Redrugas then Luthernburg carrying a unknown amount of Oil in its Cargo. 47 minutes after departure a SOS was received at Joint Coast Guard Station in Dorchester Yor, reports of large waves of 40+ feet were crashing over the bow and the ship had taken in a decent amount of water and may need assistance. At 0800hrs all communication were lost with the tanker, Kuthern and York Coast guard helicopters immediately responded but did not see anything due to very ruff seas. We request the assistance of the UK Coast Guard to help find the missing 22 crew members.

The Oan government formally requests military aid. Our military, was victorious in the Auroran-Pacific War through various military operations that have tested and displayed our competence, willingness to cooperate with allies and committment such as the aerial strikes on key Xagrurgian cities and naval invasion and occupation of Eidenburg and sinking of a large portion of the embattled Xagrurgian Navy. Our aspirations for peace are displayed in our committal of money, materiel and troops to peacekeeping, disaster relief and humanitarian aid operations throughout the world, notwithstanding through our membership in the Peacekeeping Forces of Urth. We continue to battle pirates, poachers and terrorists in the defence of maritime trade and shipping routes in the Caven Sea and South West Pacific Ocean.
Our military has struggled to recover from the cost that we had to pay to ensure that liberty would prevail in Aurora against the propagation of fascism during the Auroran-Pacific War. Our liberation of the Kōhatu Isles against the tyranny of the Diamond Authority that ruled it and our support of the freedom fighters there took a toll on our meagre resources and exhausted personnel. We have struggled to maintain indigenous research and development particularly in naval and aerial combat and defence. With the sale of Oan Shipwrights Company to Kuthernburg and closure of shipyards that facilitated construction and repair of military vessels, our indigenous arms manufacturing industry has been, some what, dealt a blow. Our military struggles to invest in capital, without which we will lack the ability to maintain our patrol, antipiracy, anti-terrorism and antipoaching operations and our commitments to our humanitarian operations and defence obligations both for our allies, most of all the United Kingdom, and of ourselves. The threat of the Xagrurgian nuclear strikes last year proved that our antiballistic missiles defence program was weak and would fail dismally if faced with a real threat.
We have decided, therefore, to beseech His Majesty’s Government for military aid. The reconciliation of the Auroran Continent through the establishment of the UNAC and the reestablishment of mutual defence and military cooperation structured that existed under its predecessor, we find ourselves I’ll equipped to make a meaningful, sustainable and consistent contribution to that force. Furthermore, we are of the opinion that the defence of the Auroran continent must remain the responsibility of Aurorans. We can sympathize that His Majesty’s Armed Forces have had to not only commit to rebuilding themselves after the difficult and costly war with Ethalria and Xagrurg and Kostromastan, but also maintain its defence of its empire, Blueacia and Tivot. The Oan Isles wants to help lift that burden and strengthen the defence of our continent and of our partnership.
