“The universe has it’s own cure for stupidity. Unfortunately it doesn’t always apply it.” Lt.Johnson said, "This must apply to this guy who is out here with his 13 year old son in a 17’ skiff in 13 foot seas with blowing spray’ LCDR. Jesson through the radio. Little did the rescuers know that this would be the last time they saw each other, in order to understand the current bond between these two we must go back to August 2nd 1992 at Royal Queen Airbase were the Coast Guard Trainees spend there first 9 weeks before entering the Royal Kuthern Coast Guard.

After a accident that cost Lt.Johnson his crew during a rescue operation just off the coast of Celestia , the RDML Noshk gave him two options teach the training school or be put on desk duty, reluctantly Johnson accepted the training position. When he left from the Queen Victoria Naval Base he got on the charter helicopter and headed to his new station. Upon arriving he saw a group of young men who expected to be taught via the book, ’ Lets go move it grab your bags and keep up were going to the pool" Johnson says to the group of boys. Jesson who was a star swimmer in college looked confused but carried on with the task and headed to the pool, " Now Jump in and stay afloat for a 60 mins, if you cant stand 60 minutes in a pool how will you ever be able to withstand be out in Salish Sea or Concordia Ocean" Johnson screams at the men as they all jump in. Looking at the current records for in the pool and noticing that Johnson was leader of all them peeked his interest to try to show off to him.

“A ship was stranded off Cape Rezklo on the Nacatan Shoals and one of the life saving crew reported the fact that this ship had run ashore on the dangerous shoals. The old skipper gave the command to man the lifeboat and one of the men shouted out that we might make it out to the wreck but we would never make it back. The old skipper looked around and said, 'The Blue Book says we’ve got to go out and it doesn’t say a damn thing about having to come back.” Johnson pauses for a moment looking at the men in the pool. " As Coast Guard are you truly ready to give your life up for someone else" , the class screams “YES SIR”.

“What’s the worst that can happen Senior Chief? We get underway and get caught in a storm, ice up, flip over, and we all die!” Jessons says to Johnson, " I see we have a jokester in here, well Mr.Jokerster could you introduce yourself to the class since you have so much to say". " My Name is WO2 Utsko Jesson SIR" he replies back, " Everyone one out the water’ Johnson says. Just as Jesson was about to exit the pool Johnson pushed him back down " 9 Weeks Boy" he says to him before walking off. Deep down inside Jesson reminded Johnson of himself at early stage in his life.

Oan Isles Maritime Training Center

“We wont give up, we strive to protect, one nation and her Queen” the coast guardsmen chanted as they jogged along the beach, the men were warming up to practice working in ruff waves. The Oan Isles rockery shoreline produced 12ft waves depending on were you were located, they made it to there specific 52-foot Motor Lifeboats and headed off into the surf. " Wohoo, hard starboard and over" Jesson said with excitement. His crew on the otherhand was feeling more nervous then excited, over a microphone in the distance Lt.Johnson screamed at the men to rescue the dummy that would be drop by a Oan Coast Guard helicopter.

“Your going to retrieve the person before he drowns in the fucking 20 foot swells!”.

The helicopter appeared over head and several dummies were dropped into the waves, the rescue divers spring into action jumping into the water swimming towards the dummies. In the background Lt.Johnson could be heard in the background giving a motivational speech to the boys " It takes courage to act, it takes courage to start over again, Fear kills dreams, Fear kills hopes, Fear will stop you from doing something you know you can do, Fear will be the death of you. You are Coast Guardsman, when the Airforce cant fly because of bad weather we go up, when the army is fucked situation in the mountain we go out, when the damn Navy cant go out because of ruff seas WE GO OUT!!"

The soldiers replied “YeeRahh” Jesson could be seen grabbing the dummy and heading towards the shores when he was caught in a Rip Current “Welcome to the grind boys, you will fight that rip current you will beat that rip current. You are a Coast Guard ma-” Johnson was interrupted by sailors trying to save jesson " Dont Save him he can beat it, your a lion in a field of lions all hunting the same illusive pray with a desperate starvation that says Victory is the only thing that can keep you alive Jesson"

Jesson attempting to save both him and the dummy " I… I must beat it" he thinks to himself as he is being taking further and further away from the safety of the shore, his muscles slowly start to cramp up, his breath getting shallower. He finally manages to catch a good wave to knock him off the current he lays almost lifeless as the waves takes his weak body in. " You did it son, get up" Johnson says before throwing a towel over his face and walking off.
