Hello! I’m the player behind the Kingdom of Kalahasara. You may call me Queen Rowena V. It’s a constitutional monarchy, but I still have some weight to throw around.
Now to the questions. I just joined NationStates about a week ago because of a friend who encouraged me to play. I call my new country Kahalasara because I like the letter “K” and the repetition of the short “A” sound. It’s a kingdom because I grew up with fairy tales like many kids do, but I’m an American, so I really prefer the system laid out in the U.S. Constitution, even if it isn’t perfect. No, my country isn’t part of the WA, but I created this nation precisely because I want to join it while keeping my other nation, a left wing Utopia, free from international influence. I get my news from NBC, CNN or PBS. I can’t say I always enjoy the news because, let’s face it, it can be pretty depressing, but I feel naked if I don’t know what’s going on in the world. I am involved in politics in the real world, but I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t understand politics very well.
