As many of you well know, I have begun a discussion and proposal to separate the Delegate and Head of Government (HOG) positions. While we simultaneously iron out all of the legal details of this massive change (please, all of you, go into that thread, show your support, and share your ideas), we must decide something huge – what should we call our non-Delegate Head of Government?
Many people have proposed many names, so in order to have a fair and equitable way to decide once and for all what we shall call it, I have decided to start a sort of citizens’ referendum. In this thread, for the next week, any citizen of TEP can propose up to three names for the office. At the end of this period, we shall have another week to vote, using ranked choice IRV, on what to call our HOG. Now is your chance to make history. The nominations period closes 11:59 PM Pacific Time on Sunday March 1st. Let’s begin.
