Holiday Act

BE IT ENACTED by the Magisterium of the East Pacific:

SECTION I. Holiday Act

This act shall be known and cited as the “Holiday Act.”

SECTION II. FINDINGS.

The Magisterium finds that –
(1) The East Pacific needs a holiday.
(2) The East Pacific needs more culture.
(3) The East Pacific embraces the multiculturalism of the many nations in the region.
(4) All nations within The East Pacific have holidays of national importance.

SECTION III. PURPOSES

The purposes of this act are –
(1) To officially recognize holidays within The East Pacific.
(2) To create cultural events that invite the participation of other regions.

SECTION IV. PROVISIONS.

(a) The Delegate has the supreme control to set any holiday he wishes, as long as it passes through Magisterium, which will approve by majority vote.
(b) The Holiday act is officialy recognized by the East Pacific Government.
(c) Any Citizen can ask the Delegate to set a new suggested holiday.

SECTION V. ENACTMENT.

This bill shall be enacted upon its signature by the Delegate, except if the Magisterium votes to override a veto of this bill by the Delegate.
