What a great match this will be between these two footballing nations, both rivals in Aurora, both are more than willing to fight for a place in the last 16.
The first half was played with a lot of honor and trial, but in the end the score was 0-0 with no shots.
Staynes finally scored in the second half at the 54th minute, blueacia had 2 more chances in 64th and 68th minute but after some controversial calls from the referee who was from Asendavia, both shots were called of, both were called “offside”. the Blueacian Crowds were furious with the referees calls as even VAR Footaged showed them to be onside, eventually Blueacia was able to score a screamer from outside the box in the 80th minute, ending the game with a 1-1 draw.

Tivot vs Tretrid
Tretrid started the kickoff with an immediate attack into the final forth with their fast strikers, but the Tivot Keeper managed to block the shot, a corner was called and Tretrid got an accurate header but the Keeper again blocked it!
Tivot was able to play well defensively the entire half and eventually took the lead in the 66th minute despite having less possession. Tretrid started to play more aggressively and eventually a Tretrid player flopped in the box to get a penalty, but the Tivot Keeper blocked it again!
The Match ended 1-0 in favor of Tivot.

New Leganes vs Tavaris
New Leganes who have always been major favorites in every World Cup played an embarrassing game which ended in 2-0 in favor of Tavaris, it was clear that New Leganes was out of chemistry and prob tactics, a change needs to be made!

Aduraszna vs Auraliyu
This match was played well, both teams managed to score but Aduraszna was the better team and managed to score the winner in the 78th minute, the match ended 2-1.

Alksearia vs Lapinumbia
Lapinumbia came back as returning champions, they were the most expected to win, but Alksearia pulled ahead at the 14th minute and then in the 30th minute, people wondered if this was gonna be a massacre of a goal line, but Lapinumbia managed to score one in the 64th minute, leaving the match 2-1.

Vultuca vs Kyrolth
The atmosphere was tight, as Vultuca and Kyrolth went head to head, both wanting 3 points to secure their place in the knockout stages, both are eager to fight to the end.
Kyrolth scored an early goal at the 6th minute, but Vultuca equalized in the 9th, and then scored to get ahead at the 44th minute, the second half started with Kyrolth seeming to have the upper hand at first, firing 3 shots on goal in the span of 4 minutes, but Vultuca was able to counter with a goal in the 70th minute, the match ended with the score of 3-1, Vultuca had secured their spot in the world cup knockout stages.

South Hills needed a win today just to stay in the fight, but after Durakia scored in the 40th minute and South Hills never got any major chances, they lost the match, South Hills cried after losing another match, as they knew they were out of the world cup and also bottom of their group.

Today was Asendavias day to step up again, they wanted to secure their spot aswell, they scored in the 40th and 57th minutes of the game and Rufuina scored in the 62th minute, and the match ended in a 2-1 victory for Asendavia

Adley sighed when he looked at the match. Asendavia vs Durakia. He knew this wouldn’t go well, no matter which side won. But, his policy was still the same. Durakia needed to move on from the past. The game would go ahead, to the objections of the Communist Party.
The game had gone about as expected, with tensions building from the fans of either side. The more civil chants of “We-Boat, You Don’t!” had been drowned out by insults to the Asendavian Monarchy and People, while the Asendavian chants came to calling Durakia “communist heretics.”
Needless to say, the night was tense, with the Asendavian victory not being taken well by Durakan fans. Multiple fans on both sides were arrested, with property damage and assault being the most common charge made.
The drunken violence came to breaking point with the tragic event of an Asendavian man dying after being struck on the head with a vodka bottle by a drunk Durakan fan.
This man was denounced officially by the Durakan Government, with an official statement on the matter to be released shortly. Although, rather disturbingly, some members of the Durakan radical left have demanded the man’s release, calling him “A modern hero of the revolution.”
Semi Finals Match 1
Kuthernburg vs Lapinumbia
The first Semi final has begun,
The crowds were cheering, the people were laughing, the celebrations erupted as these nations faced each other of, Kuthernburg stunned the Lapinumbians with a goal in the 22nd minute, and Lapinumbia grew desperate to equalizied as the timer kept going to the finish, Lapinumbia had many free kicks to take but missed them all, a goal disallowed in the 74th minute due to a hand ball, it seemed that kuthernburg would surely go to the final,
but lapinumbia managed to score.
The match dragged on unto extra time, the teams tried everything they could, flopping, fouling just to get themselves an advantage, but they were evenly matched, maybe the match would go to penalities?
Nope, Lapinumbia scored a goal in the 108th minute, Kuthernburg now where the ones struggling to equalizied, they kept shooting and trying but in the end,
they failed, and Lapinumbia walked into the finals, the score was 2-1
Semi Finals Match 2
Caltharus vs Aduraszna
The Atomsphere was intense, as David and Goliath were put face to face, although David did beat Goliath, the match can’t just be decided on a story!
The Kick off started and the Match was noticeably aggressive, with Calthraus getting a red card in the 3rd minute and 2 yellow cards given to Aduraszna before the 9 minute mark, but Caltharus scored in the 6th minute after a free kick was given to them.
Aduraszna had a 2 major chances in the 10th and 14th minutes, but a challenge in both of them from Caltharus stopped their attempts, Caltharus was awarded a yellow card for one of those challenges. Aduraszna conceded a penalty in the 32th minute and was awarded a red card, but Caltharus fired it to the moon (It was later retrieved by Vultucas Space Administration as they came into contact with it outside of orbit).
Caltharus scored again in the 44th minute, ending the half 2-0, It was Adurasznas time to shine if anything, maybe a comeback?
but they kepted screwing up, Caltharus scored in the 70th minute, and again in the 84th minute, ending the game 4-0.

These two teams stepped onto the pitch for one last time before the final, both played hard and well but eventually it dragged on to a penalty shootout, with many fouls in the box not called for either team.
