Senate wing, Capital Hill, 0348 Hours.
“All in favor of the Transportation, Mobilization and Growth Plan, please rise” Over half of the senate rose and Paul Jensen looked down at his podium to count the votes again.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, I’d like to announce that of today, the TMG Plan has been passed with the supporting side winning the majority vote” clapping was heard throughout the Senate Chamber. Cameramen from their specific news channel panned the whole chamber and focused on some of the congressmen and women in the chamber.
Elsewhere, civilians said goodbye to their families and boarded military planes and boats. They were going off to start a new life on the continent of Aurora, being the first to step foot on Auroran soil. This new colonization mission would gain land for Setzna near the country of Bielarus. The new colony would allow easier transportation of civilians, troops and also trade, this new route was dubbed the Setzna-Cantaz-Aurora “Highway” and would also allow the SSDF to deploy anywhere in the Southern Hemisphere swiftly. This also allowed the SSDF to mobilize and assist in case Emberwood Coast was in any danger. The SSDF also laid claims on some of the islands south of Setzna, half of which would be used for civilian and military research.
