Nation Name: nswiki.net

Governmental Type: Federal parliamentary representative democracy under a Semi-constitutional Elective Popular Monarchy, economic structure is a cross between a mixed market and market socialism

Version of Executive Branch: Monarch of Vulshain, King Samuil Rainard; Confederate Royal Premier Cecilia Rainard; Chief Prime Minister Adalberto Spencer; Speaker of Parliament (no one yet, elections ongoing)

The Monarch is the highest authority, and is considered a semi-constitutional monarch who while not having absolute power as an absolute ruler, he does have much more power than a constitutional figurehead would. The Confederate Royal Premier acts as advisor and vizier to the Monarch.

The Confederate Administrative Cabinet is a blend of the Westminster and United States cabinet systems, in that while the Cabinet (made up of various ministers who head the Ministries of the Crown) acts as an advisory council to the Monarch, ministers may submit bills and policies directly to the Royal Congress and the monarch. The Vulshainian Cabinet may also decide on government policy without the king’s input, but the policy must still go through the Royal Congress before going into effect.

Version of Legislative Branch: Royal Congress of Vulshain (Unicameral Parliament)

Version of Judicial Branch: Systems of Courts; the Constitutional Court of the Confederacy is separate the other courts and fulfills a role similar to that of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany (and has the same powers as it too). Vulshain’s judicial branch is very similar to that of Supreme court - Wikipedia. However, there are features of the Chinese, French, and British judicial systems as well. For example, the Constitutional Court may dissolve political parties for violating the Constitution of the Confederacy.

Other Branches of Government: Confederate Administrative Cabinet, made up of various departments and ministries

Do you have a Hereditary Monarch?: Sort of. Vulshain is mainly an elective monarchy, but most of its rulers have been descendents of royal and noble bloodlines.

If so then is it treasonous to offend the Monarch?: Not really. Libel and slander are illegal, but

Is the Chief Executive elected by a ‘Parliament’, directly by the people, or other: The Confederate Royal Premier is chosen by the Monarch, usually a friend or relative. The Chief Prime Minister and Speaker of Parliament are elected by the people. The Monarch is chosen by secret ballot by a select group of Royal Congress members, but as mentioned earlier, the Monarch is always of royal blood.

Other notes you would like to add: Pretty much the NSWiki articles are a good read to learn more about my nation, but you don’t have to read them to roleplay with them.
