WELCOME TO IRSA

In this thread, you will have the ability to apply for membership within IRSA. Here is some information that we have compiled before should you apply for IRSA membership.

IRSA is a defensive pact but is also an unofficial facilitator for further interaction between member states in regards to socio and economic platforms. IRSA membership is open to any country which is in a position to further the principles of the Andel Pact and to contribute to the goal of security around the world. Any decision on IRSA membership enlargement must be made “by unanimous agreement”.

IRSA prides itself on its goals of a strong, stable and prosperous world that we live in. Its member states hold one position each in the respective civilian and military structures. The respective structures of the IRSA, including IRSAC (Intercontinental Regional Security Accords Council) and the Services Council (SC), elect its leadership periodically.

Countries wishing to join IRSA should:

  • Have a functioning democratic political system based on a market economy

  • Treat its minority cultures, ethnicities, religions, species and other demographs fairly

  • Commit to peaceful resolution of ongoing or future conflict

  • Be able and willing to contribute to IRSA military operations

  • Have no disputed territories with IRSA member states

IRSA membership is not imposed on countries. The Andel Pact gives its member states the specific right to exit from the organisation should they wish to.

If you are a country wishing to apply for membership in IRSA, a coded form is provided below. Member states will deliberate on your application form and shall vote accordingly. Note that IRSA must agree with over 90 percent in favour for your nation to be accepted.

The Republic of Hustreache was founded on principles of state atheism, nationalism, and republicanism. Description of nations’ political system: The Hustrian government uses a premier-presidential system, under which a President is elected and can nominate a cabinet and Prime Minster that is directly accountable to the legislature through votes of no confidence. By general convention, the President usually handles matters of foreign and military affairs while most other matters are delegated to the Prime Minister. The President is elected through instant-runoff voting while the legislature is elected through a mixed-member proportional vote.

Description of treatment of minority cultures, ethnicities, religions, species and other demographs: Discrimination on basis of culture, ethnicity, or species is officially banned per the Hustrian Constitution. The Hustrian government is also state atheist as mandated by the constitution, so preferential treatment of any one particular religion is strictly forbidden. Religious worship was legalized in 1946.

Description of nations’ political system: Heavily devolved democratic socialist state, governed by councils and assemblies to maximize direct representation.

Description of treatment of minority cultures, ethnicities, religions, species and other demographs: Emberwood Coast is a state formed and informed by minority groups and outcasts. Discrimination on the basis of protected classes are de facto and de jure banned.
