This month I’m trying to get more out of the Ministry as a whole, so every little thing helps. These are my current goals for the Ministry.
-
Festival of The Tranquil Suns: Get this running efficiently with little to no setbacks. My goal is to hit 100 verified server members by the end of the event. I can probably dream bigger but this is my first Festival and I’d rather play it safe.
-
CYOA: At least have the first poll out by the end of the month, with at least six polls planned in total. This goal is flexible.
-
Work out Bring a Puppet Day with Marrabuk, and at least get the planning started.
-
Begin work on establishing Game Nights. Specifically, look into all potential games, consider accessibility and ease of playing, and narrow it down to the games we absolutely want. If we can get at least one game night done in June I’d be thrilled.
-
Sponsor/open at least 10 polls created by the Ministry of Culture.
-
Get a Trivia Bot in the main Discord server. The only reason I see for us to not meet this goal is if the admins see good reason not to.
-
Grow the Card Initiative. Potentially solidify it as a Department under MoC. This likely needs approval from the Delegate first. There are multiple strong candidates to run this department.
-
Solidify the ideas dispatch by looking into each one and getting rid of ideas that can’t work. Potentially end up narrowing down and summarizing the ideas for future Projects.
-
Double the number of Staffers from 10 to 20. This may seem ambitious, but constant advertising could work as long as I am accessible and approachable.
-
Have an up-to-date and comprehensive list of the Ministry Staffers.
There’s not much in the way of solid projects/events, but the way I see it, I need to whip the Ministry into shape and build a strong foundation before I can start working in that arena. The goal is to be so cohesive with my foundation building that someone with no prior knowledge of the work we do would not have a terribly difficult time turning this into an efficient, hard working machine.
