Attention Magisters - going to be temporarily joining an EPSA pile because it’s funny. WA won’t be on ArenaC for a hot minute. AMOM + Deputies informed, Lucklife recruited me
Late but this is no longer the case
The Office of the Provost was today informed of Arleat’s retirement from NationStates. A two-year TEPer and active government official, he served as a Magister for the vast majority of his tenure on NationStates and was Deputy Provost during the 65th Magisterium. He additionally served, amongst other things, as Secretary of Endorsement Affairs under Delegate American-Cascadia. We thank Arleat for his service to The East Pacific and wish him well in his future endeavors.
Arleat has been removed from the Magisterium roster accordingly.
Please be advised, that I will be resigning from the magisterium effective immediately. This will be my official retirement from TEP Government.
Acknowledged. I thank you for nearly a year of continuous service within the Magisterium, and I wish you all the best for your future activities.
Posting for posterity:

EDIT 2026-04-03T06:32:00Z: As my resignation was refused, I withdraw the above statement.
The below post is retroactive to March 5th, 2026; I had forgotten to post it here then. My apologies.
The Office of the Provost was today informed of McStooley’s retirement from NationStates. A recipient of the Order of the Panther Moon, McStooley (doing business on NS as Dragons Blood) served in the 26th-28th sessions of the Magisterium from around October 2015 to March 2016 (when he assumed the Delegacy) - including a stint as Provost of the 27th Magisterium - before returning to this body in January 2020 (44th Magisterium), remaining in these halls for a full 6 years, 1 month and 11 days(!!). Until today, McStooley had been the longest consecutively-serving Magister.
Outside of the Magisterium, McStooley’s résumé dwarves the great majority of us modern TEPers. The 14th Delegate and 18th head of government, McStooley served in our highest office for 2 terms - from March 11th, 2016 to October 10th, 2016. He was the first-ever Grand Vizier, leader of our modern Praesidium, when the role was established on February 16th, 2020; he served in that role until June 8th, 2021. Overall, he served in the Praesidium from October 30, 2019 to his official retirement today (save only a lapse from April 10th to May 9th, 2024).
McStooley was awarded the Order of the Panther Moon (then known as the Order of the Golden Ocelot) on September 23rd, 2020. In bestowing upon him the order, then-Delegate Libertanny wrote:
[McStooley is awarded this Order] …for help in rebuilding The East Pacific post-coup as the Vice-Delegate during Libertanny’s Administration; for tirelessly working on improving The East Pacific, especially in the “hard” eras; for service as Magister, Vizier, Grand Vizier and Delegate[.]
Disclaimer: some minor paraphrasing present at beginning to smoothen transition.
It is the opinion of this Office that McStooley represents the best and brightest of what The East Pacific has to offer. We wish him well in his future endeavors.
McStooley has been removed from the Magisterium roster accordingly.
As Overseeing Officer of the EPSA, I would like to notify Provost @AC5230 that Rudak, Ulmer & Cretox have joined the EPSA. If their WA status could be updated, that would be good.
8 total Magisters in EPSA has to be some sort of record.
That has been fixed, by the way.
My obligations to the physical world have unfortunately grown too great for me to be able to properly manage; I will thus be going on a Leave of Duties through 2026-05-15T03:59:00Z. The date is not fully determinate at this juncture: I may return earlier once my workload has decreased, or - conversely - standardized testing may require the extension of my LOD. I will update the Magisterium regularly on this matter and I apologize for the extended absence.
Lucklife is the longest-serving of my Deputy Provosts and will serve as Acting Provost in my absence. Due to the nature of this absence, I will still be available on occasion to guide the Office of the Provost through any necessary endeavors; I will simply not be partaking in any myself at this time.
Update - May 10th, 2026
Life comes at you fast, doesn’t it?
Due to the increase in my schedule’s filled timeslots, especially given testing and other IRL endeavors, I will be extending my LOD by 72 hours to end on 2026-05-18T03:59:00Z. I do not foresee my absence extending beyond that date. I apologize to this Magisterium for my unusually long silence.
