Background:
The nation-planet of Old Federalia is only a whisper of it’s past. All that remains is what was left behind. It’s population is now concentrated in a few of the remaining cities, mainly the capital, Terabithia. Most important to the natives is the belief in a great secret, the key to OF’s strength. It is even more of a mystery than what caused it’s decline.
Once boasting a population of a trillion (it’s nearly 9 times the size of earth), it is now occupied by only 2.4 billion people. The planet’s ecosystem was annhilated by the city-planet, thereby leaving chemically grown algae as the only source of sustinance.
The remnants of the Federalians are those whose ancestors were too poor to leave. The major industry is fleet maintanence. The major resource is irraidium, a key component to Federalian hyperdrives. Thus, the people build and repair the very starships they cannot afford to own.
In name, the political system is a multi-leveled federation of cities and constitutional monarchy. In reality, Terabithia is larger than all other cities combined, thereby ruling them outright, and the imperial family left the planet ages ago. The populist, corrupt United Technologies (UnitTech) party holds an indominable majority in the Federal Parliament, Senate, and House of Lords. At it’s head stands Chancellor Goldbloom, a pristine image of hope that is rotten to the core.

The Empire itself has a total of 4 planets under its control and primarily focuses on its trade routes for revenue. Typically staying out of conflicts directly but is known to “play one’s cards right” from time to time. The society is very multicultural with different races living in retaliative peace.
East Malaysia was formally an associated state to the Galactic Federation of Planets and it is still reflected in its flag to this day.[/spoiler]

Backstory
Following a nearly twenty year conflict for control of the planet, the Svetlav Federation and its allies seized total control over the planet. Feeling they would be stronger as one the four nations: Svetlav, Dogola, Varwal and Sudegast met in the capital city of Svetlav, Perun. Forming a council of the four world leaders, the borders were erased and a single country arose on the planet. The Council decided on “Laiatan”, the name of the planet they now controlled. The following 100 years brought Laiatan into prosperity, technology increasing ten-fold to bring the planet into a spacefaring age.
Today the planet has a new face - civil rights are through the roof, as are political freedoms. Some have voiced freedom for many of the nations annexed through the Unification Wars, but most citizens and members of government refuse and argue against these ideas. The planetary state is currently a federation comprising of 53 federal subjects. These subjects are autonomous, though they are subordinate to the federal government and its laws.
Its current president is Nikolai Gorbunov and is the head of the United Laiatan Party. The United Laiatan Party also holds a majority in the Federation Council, the parliament of the Federation.[/spoiler]

The federation thrives on trade and internal production is on the rise, being a major trade hub as it is near the center of the galaxy. The federation maintains a strong navy with piracy and insecurity in the region.

The planet of Jemha II is a toxic, scorching hot wasteland considered by most to be impossible to live in. Despite that, numerous pirates, smugglers, and bounty hunters have managed to call it home. Although most would see an intensely hot mass of sulphuric rock, they saw a planet on the very edge of modern civilization, with no laws or rules to dictate how they should live their lives.
In time, they slowly created a loosely held together oligarchy. Numerous warlords control the different regions of landmass. Together, they create the Council, which governs all illegal activities on the planet. (Most of the planet’s revenue comes from illegal distribution of drugs, bounty collecting, and smuggling of goods.)
The cities of Jemha II are gigantic junkyards, barely held together by the various scraps left lying around. There are no peacekeepers on this plane: rather, everyone follows an unwritten code of honor, if such a thing could exist among criminals. Those that do not follow this code learn the hard way from the other scum of the earth inhabiting the planet, that such behavior is not permitted.
To resist the toxic gases that emit from the ground and reside in the atmostphere, specially-designed suits were developed to withstand the toxicity. An example is shown below.

Xoriet is the home planet of a race of humanoid beings who identify themselves as Xorai’i. Their world consists of one Empire called “The Aurora Empire.” Although all beings are united under the term Xorai’i, the Empire is not alone in its inhabitance of this planet. There are a number of smaller countries located in areas called “The Outlands” by the residents of the Empire. There are six territories in the Aurora Empire and three Outland countries. There are approximately 3.389 billion Xorai’i on the planet. Though they exist in relative peace, they are not precisely friendly. The fact that they are barely cordial is a drawback to the Empire’s ambitions to expand until the entire planet marches under their banner.
The natives of the Aurora Empire are all fair skinned with eyes the color of cut gems. They all have black hair, and the average Imperial citizen, male and female, stands between 5"5 and 6"0.
Natives of the Outlands have swarthy skin and eyes of less unnatural hues. They have hair colors ranging from blonde to light brunette to redhead. Their overall height ranges between 4"10" and 6"5.
