The governments of the Modern Pacific Alliance which choose to approve this pact express their approval of and agree to comply with the terms dictated within its text.

MPA Activity Committee Pact: sponsored by Jeux II of The Pacific.

The Modern Pacific Alliance hereby establishes the MPA Activity Committee (MPAAC), an organization which will congregate primarily within the MPA’s official forum.

The MPA forum administration will arbitrarily grant MPAAC membership to any nation (of an MPA-involved region which ratifies the pact) that joins the MPA forums and expresses an interest in joining the MPAAC. No other nations will be admitted.

The MPAAC will be led by a Director who will be elected into this position by the MPAAC’s members (excepting the first Director of the MPAAC, who will be appointed by the MPAA). The Director must be a member of the MPAAC.

Any MPAAC member may host a motion to elect a new Director and must nominate a new director in this motion. This motion must be seconded by two other MPAAC members to pass and for a new election to begin. The newly nominated Director must run against the current Director in the election.

The MPAAC will meet to design/organize cultural events and to host discussions. The Director of the MPAAC will be in charge of monitoring discussions, deciding which events to host and when to host them, and consulting members of MPA-involved governments to achieve accommodation for these events.

If the Director wishes to host a MPAAC event in an involved region’s forum, he/she must receive the permission of this region’s government before hosting the event.

A member of the MPAAC may be barred from participation in the committee if the delegate of their region and Director of the MPAAC both declare it publicly.

The East Pacific withdrew from this pact in November 2012. (See this http://theeastpacific.com/topic/987192/1/.)
