No imminent absence yet so don’t panic but due to a few power cuts (Read: Circuit breaker stopping the power) my boot hard drive in my PC is failing. I’ve ordered a new drive but don’t be surprised if I suddenly stop posting for a few days. Hopefully you won’t notice anything (Not that I’m here often enough due to my job search…)

If you want I could sell you the spare I ordered (I had the same issue). I accidentally brought a HD that is incompatible with my system. Haven’t bothered listed it on eBay yet, good luck.

OK crisis over. I replaced the hard drive with the new one that arrived today. It’s made the PC feel like new.
So, you going to pay the couple thousand to get a perfect copy of everything on the failed HD? :lol:
I used Vistas own backup utility to copy the drive. Restored it and it is working perfectly. And even better, the old drive seems to be still in warranty so I might RMA it for a spare.
My bro’s PC is freaking bothersome. First the the graphics card, then the CPU fan, then the hard drive…my goodness…:rolls eyes:
