But you are nice because “The Republic of Kangarawa” sent me a friendly telegram. It said there is a ‘friendly group of people here’ i sure hope so.

Cable and Wireless is more left than right but not too far left. Cable and Wireless also has telecommunications networks that span the globe connecting many regions.

“You can cable to any part of the empire by Cable and Wireless for 5/-”

But nobody has 5/- do they?

Hello sorry but how do I start to RP. I know this is role playing but that is about as much as I know. Would like to get involved.

I’ll admit it’s a bit tricky to figure out at first. Basically, it’s a matter of joint storytelling, with everyone deciding the actions of their characters (i.e. their nations and their inhabitants.

So if you want to RP something happening in your country (war, armistice, festival, election, you name it) you can start a thread and write about what happened in your country. It could be in the form of a story, or official communiques from your government, or written from the perspective of a citizen of your nation, or any number of other things. With any luck, some of the other RPers will decide that what happened in your country is relevant to theirs and join in in some way.

To use an example, in Tep Forum | 404 - Link Expired Kangarawa told about an attack by some Kangarawan terrorists. She went on to talk about the effect and the government reaction, and other RPers joined in, having their characters send condolences or conspire with or against the terrorists.

If you don’t feel like starting your own thread, there are a number of them ongoing. If one looks interesting to you, just ask and we can explain the story thus far.

Welcome to the forums, Cable and Wireless!

Guess I should have warned you that clown shoes were a prerequisite of joining …

You know the type of thing: big, floppy-toed, easy-to-trip over, brightly coloured… Did I mention big?!? They make our Delegate’s feet seem so much more normal in size …

As for the role-playing, don’t hesitate to send a personal message to anyone here on the forums for some assistance. Kandarin and Free Pacific States in particular, are awesome resources!

You must also submit to the Hive. Now.

Isn’t that a little excessive?
