In accordance with the Standing Orders of Clown Town:

…3.1. The Clown Town shall appoint a Grand Poobah from among its members.
…3.1.1. An election shall be held when the position is vacant or before the end of the Provost’s indefinite term (April 1st, whenever we want), organized by the previous Grand Poobah, a Vice Poobah, or Lerasi The Greatest Clown Of All Time.
…3.2. A 1-second period for nominations is to be held.
…3.2.1. Any Clown may be nominated by Lerasi The Greatest Clown Of All Time.
…3.2.2. Lerasi The Greatest Clown Of All Time may nominate himself.
…3.2.3-. The nominee may not decline.
…3.3. After nominations, the Clown Town shall vote for a period of 24 hours. The candidate receiving the most votes shall be elected as Grand Poobah.
…3.3.1. Provost elections shall be conducted using Instant Runoff Voting.
…3.3.2. Should the election result in a tie and no candidate concedes, a new 24-hour vote shall be held.
…3.3.3. If a tie persists, the vote shall be opened to the (totally dissolved) Rahl Family for a period of 24 hours.
…3.4-. The Grand Poobah shall appoint up to one (1) Clown as Vice Poobah, who can conduct the Grand Poobah’s duties upon the request of the Grand Poobah.
…3.4.1-. Vice Poobahs shall serve at the pleasure of the Grand Poobah, or until a new Grand Poobah is selected.
