Hello Magisterium, I am here to nominate @Acronis to the Praesidium. I have known Ben for almost my entire time in TEP. He is a great influence in both TEP and Urth, someone that people can look to for help when they need it. When I was reached out to wondering if Ben would be a good Vizier, and I of course immediately said yes and asked him if he would be interested. Ben responded with enthusiasm to become a vizier, and it made me happy to see. I believe that Ben would be a great Vizier.

An excellent nomination. Ben is both a much-loved member of the RP and GP communities and a calm, deliberate voice of reason during any debate or discussion. I’d be thrilled to add his sober outlook and unique personality to the team.

Ben has been in and out of activity. Not that being a vizier requires 100% full activity all the time. Would be nice if Ben could assure us, his activity in TEP will remain constant and consistent if elected as one.
If he can reassure us, then I will be in full support of this.
While Acronis took a few years off from government, he has been a steady presence in the Urth roleplay — those of us on that map know him as hard working, dedicated, and great to know, as those government officials who were present back when he was Provost can attest. He is thoughtful in his judgments and zealous in his commitment to our community. Strong candidate, I am thrilled to see his nomination.

Thank you for the question. It is true that between late 2021 and early this year, I was retired from government service. I chose to step away in 2021 due to real life concerns. However, I remained active in Urth RP during that time. I returned to government service this year and am committed to remaining active. I can’t see the future, of course, and we all face changes in real life circumstances from time to time, but I have no plans to be anything but a continuing part of The East Pacific. I would not have accepted the nomination if I did not feel myself capable of making the time commitment.

while I absolutely hate the idea of losing a wonderful soldier for EPSA, I equally stand ready to welcome Acronis to the Praesidium. i second the motion.
