A thread for something that reminds you about something good in your past. This can be used to take some stuff off your mind, typically, which is a good thing! It can be NS related or not. I’d like to start the thread off with something that made me nostalgia hard, lol:
My God… when I think of all the hours I spent playing Sim City 2000 as a kid, it’s remarkable… I had all kinds of cool towns. I just remember I thought I had a good secret by lininig industries with Darcos, because people in Darcos didn’t seem to care that much about pollution.
Anyone remember Pogs? We played with these on the elementary school playgrounds a few times. I was decent, but I had a slammer that was pretty cool - it had the picture of a solar system with a ying-yang for the sun. I… kind of lost it though. Most of the time it makes me “meh”, but I still can’t get over how these things suddenly became so popular… they’re just discs with pictures on them, lol.
Ooh, SimCity 2K! I had a watered-down Windows Mobile version of it on my PDA, for the moment when I feel like being a dictatorial mayor! XD

This is one of the most exciting RTS I have ever played! The only resource you have is time, and your wits. You’ll need both of them more critically when playing in multi-player though. Played it back in '96, back when my 486DX seemed to be the mightiest thing in the universe, and when I was worrying over the increasing rate at which my beard appear.
If anyone still have copies of it, or know where such copies can be retrieved, please please let me know. I prefer the Windows 95 version though, but if I could only get the MS-DOS version, so be it!
Haha, I remember Super Mario World. The game I played more than that, though, is Starfox, lol…

This played right around dinner time for me, and we never really sat at a table, so I would watch this. And yes, I still know most of the song. My first-grade dream was to be on this show, go to the final round, get all the countries right, then be a sleuth, lol.
Man, how can I totally forget about that one?! They rocks (except X-COM:Interceptor though; smells more like racing to me). Having your entire squad wiped out in a single turn by a single grey imp? Priceless!

Dude you dont realize how pissed off I was when I saw the previev for Despicable Me,
I thought when that pyramid deflated and they started showing other landmarks under gaurd that this was the Carmen Sandiego movie I was waiting for.
