**Historical Summary:** Nuesperanza was an Implenazan colony until the local Esperati tribes overthrew the colonial government after more than 300 years of occupation. Installing the Esparti queen Galicia Kumakulam as their leader, this tradition of having a queen has become an unbreakable custom. From 1602 until 1904, Nuesperanza closed its borders and became mostly isolationist though formed close trade relationships with its neighbors. With the outbreak of the Great War, Nuesperanza was forced to fight after several of its shipping vessels were attacked. Since then, Nuesperanza has been a power broker as it was a major force in diplomacy.
