This is an alternate form RP, which basically means it is entirely independent of current RP plots. Anything is fair game in this story. The characters in this RP may exist and still interact in their respective threads in the other RP sections.
The RP basically exists as a medium to explore what would happen if your character went insane and ended up in an asylum. Additionally, the RP is about the interaction of our characters and their insanites and what happens when you put them all together on a locked unit.

Out of curiosity, would you prefer if all the characters involved in this were already created in another RP? I’m wondering because, since I’m relatively new here, I only have three characters that have been mentioned in other RPs, thus limiting my selection. No worries if that’s the way you want it, I have a backup plan that will work, which I may use regardless of if I can use newly created characters. 
It is based on your preference! If you would like to create a new character, by all means, go right ahead! There are really no limitations, it is just to explore what an already existing character would be like if they were to go insane or if you wanted to create a new character what they would be like insane, and how all of that interacts with the other members!
