General Assembly Resolution #416 “Ban on Ritual Sacrifice” (Category: Civil Rights; Strength: Mild) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.
We are appalled at GA#416’s clarifying clause’s sweeping exemptions for capital punishment, euthanasia of the terminally ill (with no mandate that that euthanasia be voluntary), or acts of “insurgency” or “counterinsurgency” from ritual sacrifice that functionally makes the resolution useless and prevents the General Assembly from passing more accurate and constructive definitions of “ritual sacrifice” in future resolutions.
