AS SEEN IN THIS DISCORD POST - I’ve compiled all of the formats seen in our laws + the one I used in my current drafts and want you to pick
-
Which format you prefer - 2 layers or 3 layers and different stylistic alphabetical & numerical substructures, and
-
If you prefer one of the numerical substructures, whether you prefer a period at the end or a dash (again, as seen in several different laws currently on record).
Consider the periods used in the poll to be line breaks.
Fun fact: the forum won’t even let me put six period together (shortens it automatically to 3); I separated them with a space, but I think we can already consider that option to be off the table.
There are a few singletons like SECTION I. , a).
(from the Standard Date Time Act) and Section 1: , ...4.1 , ...4.1.1
(from the Treason Act) which I’ve omitted.
- 2 Layers: SECTION I. , A.
- 2 Layers: SECTION I. , (a)
- 2 Layers: SECTION I. , …1.1.
- 3 Layers: SECTION I. , A. , …1.
- 3 Layers: SECTION I. , (a) , …1.
- 3 Layers: SECTION I. , …1.1., …1.1.1.
- 3 Layers: SECTION I. , …1.1., … …1.1.1.
