Security Council Resolution #20 “Condemn Greater Tezdrian” shall be struck out and rendered null and void.
The Security Council,
Recognizing the long years that have passed since SC#20 Condemn Greater Tezdrian took effect,
Understanding the historical significance of a resolution passed so early into this council’s existence,
Acknowledging that in the time since the passage of SC#20 the standards of condemnability have been raised by virtue of this council’s ever more outstanding authors,
Reasoning that a resolution passed so early into the existence of the Security Council must therefore not measure up to the standards of the present and should be evaluated at its own level,
Deciding that even by the standards of sixteen years ago SC#20 does not meet those criteria,
Noticing that the original resolution focuses on only a single action by Greater Tezdrian which it finds condemnable, the founding of IASEN, an organization dedicated to the promotion of slavery,
Believing that this single action in and of itself is not enough to deserve a condemnation, and should not have been enough even back when SC#20 was originally passed,
Confused that a majority of the original resolution’s content is not even dedicated to Greater Tezdrian, but is instead dedicated to a group of nations which have opposed IASEN, taking the time to name every nation and list every action taken by them,
Exhausted by the failure of the resolution to present any argument for condemnability,
Hereby repeals “Condemn Greater Tezdrian”.
