There was no official resignation, because I didn’t resign. I just left. I was a bit overwhelmed by all of the attention. I came into the role of Vizier because of the effort to end the reign of the Empire and to set up a constitutional democracy in its place. And I was the new guy. Most of the residents had long been involved in the region and had long histories of role-playing and governing. Because I had shown no interest in the exercise of executive power, they decided I might be a good choice for Vizier and I agreed to do it. And I did it for several months. People were kind and invited me to join in the activities of the region, but it became too much. So, at some point, I didn’t even want to log into the forum or NS. And I didn’t.

So, sometime in 2013, after about 4 years of absence, I logged in and looked around. Someone had created a region called “A Slanted Black Stripe” as a tribute to me. It looked like several people in TEP thought I had died in RL. I thought all of that was over the top, so I came back and did some work. I joined the Magisterium, served many terms as Provost, and some time as an Arbiter. While I was doing that, people asked me to be a Vizier again.

Tretrid and myself Dylan (Staynes) were confirmed Viziers on 21 May 2020.

Libertanny has lost his position as Vizier on June 15th for the reason of being elected Delegate.
