Regional Message Board Regulation Act [OLD RECORDS]

BE IT ENACTED by the Magisterium of the East Pacific:

  1. There shall exist the following regulations on regional message board advertising:
    a. No messages over 10 lines in length
    b. No messages in all or almost all capital letters
    c. No messages in all or almost all bold, underlined, or italicized letters
    d. No messages containing excessive punctuation marks
    e. No messages that insult other nations or regions.

  2. Upon an individual’s first offense, a warning may be issued by any TEP citizen via telegram. Notification of the offense must be presented to the Delegate. Upon the second offense, the Delegate may eject and permanently ban the individual.

  3. This bill, which shall be known as the 'Regional Message Board Regulation Act," shall be enacted upon its passage pursuant to the Concordat, and shall replace the prior regulations on regional message board advertising.

Citation

  1. This Act may be cited as the Regional Message Board Regulation Act, 2011.

Regulations on region advertisements
2. (1) Recruiters shall abide by the following provisions in posting advertisements for regions on the regional message board.

(2) No messages shall be posted which:
a) Are over ten lines in length;
b) Use excessive capital letters;
c) Use excessive bolded, underlined, or italicised letters;
d) Use excessive punctuation marks; or
e) Are insulting or offensive towards other nations or regions.

(3) No message containing a link to another region may be posted if at least three of the ten newest posts already contain a link to another region.

Enforcement and reporting
3. (1) Any member of the East Pacific may issue a warning for the contravention of these regulations by sending an in-game telegram to the offender.

(2) The member must also notify the Delegate of the offence immediately.

Punishment
4. The Delegate may at their discretion eject and permanently ban the individual upon the second violation of these regulations.

General
5. The Regional Message Board Regulation Act is hereby repealed.

  1. Nothing in this Act shall apply to messages intended to promote the East Pacific.

Citation

  1. This Act may be cited as the Regional Message Board Regulation Act, 2013.

Regulations, Enforcement, and Punishment
2. Any region advertisement posted on the RMB is, through the passage of this act, hereby considered a transgression against the East Pacific public. All RMB recruiters are subject to ejection and permanent banishment from the region at the will of the presiding Delegate and the Delegate may at their discretion suppress any advertisements posted on the RMB. Repeated and offensive violations constitute an insult to the East Pacific and its right to an active RMB and to sovereignty and should be dealt with accordingly by the government.

Reporting
3. (1) Any member of the East Pacific may issue a warning for the contravention of these regulations by sending an in-game telegram to the offender.

(2) The member must also notify the Delegate of the offence immediately.

General
5. The Regional Message Board Regulation Act, 2011 is hereby repealed.

  1. Nothing in this Act shall apply to messages intended to promote the East Pacific.
