I previously introduced a resolution on Executive transparency, but withdrew it in favor of a more official, formal legislative act. This act was shot down for being too byzantine, so I’ve decided to revert to the Resolution format and encompass all branches in its contents. The goal here is for the Magisterium to STRONGLY RECOMMEND that tenets of transparency are followed so that citizens have access to information and the government maintains accountability to the people – which it should, as this is a democracy. I am interested in refining the language and provisions of this Resolution, but it’s worth noting that this Resolution is non-binding, and meant to be such.
