Anyways, while this hasn’t been a major problem simply because we rarely have trials, I nonetheless want to bring up the EPAO.
The goal of the EPAO was to create a set of professional attorneys who would aim to fill the need for attorneys whenever a trial arose. Attorneys had to pass a law exam to get the title.
However, the EPAO isn’t really maintained nowadays - which isn’t a big deal in most cases, but is still far from ideal. Best to deal with this now, rather than later.
While the Magisterium can theoretically legislate on this matter, it’s probably best left to the Conclave. What we can do, however, is repeal and replace our own EPAO resolution. Therefore, I have drafted the below and seek comment.
I don’t nessecarily disagree, but I don’t really think the EPAO serves that function well. And for an entry level position, the entry barr is a bit high
