Roleplay Admin:
The Roleplay Admin is the de facto head of the roleplay staff and whilst delegating most responsibilities to TEP Roleplay, also takes up TEP Admin responsibilities where they can. This individual should also be concurrently serving as Roleplay Moderator and therefore fit all of the responsibilities and requirements of the position.
This role can elect new members of roleplay staff, and remove members of staff for sufficient reasons after a discussion with either the staff or the individual.
Individuals are elected to this position by TEP Administration. There can only be one Roleplay Admin at any given time, and it is not required to have a Roleplay Admin.
Roleplay Moderator:
Moderating unfair roleplay, godmodding or NSFW content to make sure everything runs smoothly and that nobody is left mis-treated. To make sure all of the newcomers to our section of the forums is introduced properly and accordingly. Advertise to the region with telegrams on Nationstates OR advertise to the official TEP Discord Servers in their propaganda equivalent.
Alongside all other staff members this role should patrol the chat rooms of the official TEP Discord Roleplay Server. The Roleplay Moderator should be an adult with a level head and ability to handle OOC trouble in the form of arguments, abuse or NSFW / other content that breaks our rules.
The Roleplay Moderator has a duty to conduct both the nomination and voting period for the Forum RP Officer by-election whenever this is required.
The Roleplay Moderator should have experience in TEP and the Roleplay Multiverse.
Staff:
Some form of recruitment from Nationstates and the official TEP Discord Servers. Staff will try and help out new persons when possible and show them how The East Pacific Roleplay works.
Alongside all other staff members this role should patrol the chat rooms of the official TEP Discord Roleplay Server when possible. Staff should be adults with a calmness and ability to handle OOC trouble in the form of arguments, abuse or NSFW / other content that breaks our rules. A key aspect to this discord moderation is the patrol of Voice Chat where possible.
Staff should have experience in TEP and the Roleplay Multiverse.
Cartographer Captain:
The Cartographer Captain is the head of the Cartography section. This role delegates jobs to other Cartographers and keeps track of Cartographer activity. This individual should lead the Cartography Voting Hall and keep it updated with any votes made on the Voting Hall discord chat. Where this is not possible, they should delegate this task to another Cartographer.
Cartographer Captain also has all of the responsibilities a regular Cartographer has.
Cartographer:
Cartographers are expected to take it in turns updating the Urth HR political map and its supplemental maps, or where an individual can’t because the file is f*cking enormous, help out individuals that seek help or request their own maps.
Cartographers should seek to keep anything that is found to be outdated updated or request that someone else work on it.
Cartographers should keep a record of any and all maps in a Roleplay Fileshare where it is accessible at a moments notice.
Cartographers have a vote on map claims in a staff chat room on Discord, and when they can, should try and keep the Cartography Voting Hall updated with any votes made on the Voting Hall Discord chat.
Cartographic Researcher:
The Cartographic Researchers’ main responsibility is to check over and keep any documents and relevant spreadsheets with cartographic information updated. When the Urth HR is updated, this role should seek to amend the changes made to the Cartographical Study 2.0.
Cartographic Researcher(s) have a vote on map claims in a staff chat room on Discord.
