Historical Summary: Sigeta was founded as a kingdom in 1102. Due to expansion of Paxism, it became a Emirate in the 1532. In 1838, both the Sigetan Emirate and the Limboese Kingdom formalized diplomatic relations and people migrated there for education. Due to Limbo’s more liberal society and beliefs, those beliefs started to take a root in Sigeta as well. One person, Erzsébet Bartha, started to learn about Kleinism (aka the ideology of the Socialist Workers Party in Limbo at the time) and founded the Sigetan Socialist Liberation Movement (Szigeta Szocialista Felszabadító Mozgalma), but the organization was subsequently banned by the Emirate and the leaders exiled themselves to Limbo. Bartha then became a member of the Socialist Workers Party (LB) and later on returned to Sigeta, founding the Sigetan Communist Party (Szigetai Kommunista Párt), starting a revolution against the Ruler of the Sigetan Emirate and in 1940 executed him. The first policies were the imposement of state atheism, which led to the decline of Paxism until 1951, when it reached under 3% of the total population. Sigeta was the first country to recognize the People’s Republic of Limbo over the Republic of Limbo and is diplomatically closer to Limbo. In regards to Packilvania, Sigeta saw them as an ally during the years of the Emirate until 1917 and the SCP sees them as an imperialist force (including during the regime of the Packilvanian Communist Party, which regarded it as “having completely deviated from the path of communism, adopting an ideology of fanaticism and insanity”). In the present moment, Sigeta does not regard Packilvania as an ally, nor an enemy, though it just tolerates it’s presence.
